I realize that gathering nodes are randomly generated for the most part, but wouldn’t it be cool if you can walk into a woodland-like area that has slightly more lumber nodes, or an open field or farmland with slightly more harvesting nodes or, existence forbid, a quarry that actually had a couple of mining nodes?
Maybe I just got unlucky and was placed in a bad instance that was ravaged by the game’s brutal RNG, but I think it would be great to be able to go to a quarry and actually always find a couple of mining nodes.
Anyone else get their hopes dashed like this? I mean, Tyria is already full of varying terrain types. Why not nodes to match the terrain?
